Properties: Yellowish needle system crystal, easily being deliquescent, soluble in water and alcohol, water solution with strong alkaline. Reacted with acids and liberates hydrogen sulfide. Industrial grade is generally in solution form with pale yellow color, slight rotten egg smell
Uses:To be used as an accelerating agent for synthesizing organic matter and as an aid to color products by sulfuration. Depilatory in tanning and leather, it can also be used to treat waste water. Desulphur agent in chemical fertilizer, as sulfide dye agent in synthetic fibre. Manufacture of ammonium sulfide, ethyl sulphur alcohol. Raw material and semi-products in thiourea production. As floatation agent in copper ore. As sulfide dye agent in synthetic fibre.

Packing: 25kgs net in PP bags with PE liner, or 150kgs net in iron drum. Solution, 200kgs net per pail.
Storage: Keep only in closed, properly labeled containers. Do nor store in zinc, aluminum, or copper containers. Store in cool, dry, ventilated area to prevent it from being deliquescent. Separated from acids, acidic materials, oxidizing agents. Must be kept away from fire and caustic material. In case of fire, use water, sand or fire extinguishers.
Toxicity and protection measures: Product is caustic to the skin so one should wear appropriate exposure suit when using it. |
